1. What is a safelist?
A safelist is a mailing list where all members can mail to each
other. These emails cannot be considered as spam because every
member has opted in and confirmed their email address twice!. Every
member gets rewarded advertising credits for reading email. These
credits can be used to place ads. A safelist can be used to advertise
websites, business opportunities and so forth.
2. How do safelists work?
Safelists are places where ads, offers, websites, business opportunities etc.
are advertised by mail to other members of the same safelist. The other
members are the only people who see them because not only have they
agreed to receive this mail, but they get credited handsomely for it!
Members agree twice by verifying two email addresses. (a Contact and a
List email address)
3. How does the regular mailer work?
Using the regular mailer you can send your ads to the entire list
free of charge (no credits are required and no credits are rewarded for reading
them). This feature is great when you don't have any credits left, but is not used
in our safelist as it means that less emails would be read resulting in low advertising.
4. How does the credit based mailer work?
With the credit based mailer you can email your ads to as many members
as you have credits for, up to the entire safelist as long as you have credits left.
All credit based emails have a credit link which the member clicks on, gets
redirected to the advertised website, reads the ad and gets credited for doing so.
5. What is 1 credit worth?
1 credit = 1 member of the list you can send your ads to.
6. How can I earn credits?
You can earn credits by clicking on the credit links within he emails of other
members of the safelist. These links direct you to the advertiser's website
and you have to remain there until the 15 second timer is up. You then automatically
get credited a certain amount of credits which you can use to advertise.
You can also earn credits by referring other members to our Safelist and monthly
credits by upgrading your membership.
7. What is the Ad Rotation System? (ARS)
It is a system that continuously rotates member's banners, text ads, and HTML ads
on every page of the safelist.
8. How does the Ad Rotation System (ARS) work?
When you add your banner or ad to ARS, It will be put in rotation
with the ads of other members and will be randomly displayed on
the site every time a page is loaded.
9. Who can use the ARS?
All members of the list.
10. What does it cost for my ad to be displayed?
For every ad or banner impression, it will cost you 3 mailing credits as a Private,
2 as a Sergeant and 1 as a Captain.
11. What kind of banners or ads can I display
with ARS?
You can display any ad or banner as long as it doesn't violate our Safelist rules.
